Kenya is a East African country located on the eastern coast of Africa, bordered by Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the east, Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west, and South Sudan to the northwest. To the east, it has a coastline along the Indian Ocean. Its capital and largest city is Nairobi, which is also a regional financial hub. Kenya is known for its diverse landscapes, which include savannahs, mountain ranges, lakes, and the famous Great Rift Valley. The country is home to a variety of wildlife and is famous for its national parks and safaris. Kenya has a growing economy, with major industries in agriculture (especially tea, coffee, and horticulture), tourism, and manufacturing. It is a presidential republic and a member of the United Nations, the African Union (AU), the East African Community (EAC), and the Commonwealth of Nations.
