The capital and largest city is Hong Kong, which serves as a global financial hub known for its skyline, port trade, and free-market economy. Hong Kong operates under the “one country, two systems” framework, granting it a high degree of autonomy in legal, economic, and administrative affairs until 2047. The region has a highly developed economy, driven by finance, trade, logistics, and tourism.
