Grenada is a Caribbean island nation located in the Lesser Antilles, at the southern end of the Caribbean Sea. It is made up of the main island of Grenada, along with several smaller islands, including Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The capital and largest city is St. George’s, known for its beautiful harbor, colonial architecture, and vibrant markets. Grenada is famous for its spices, particularly nutmeg, as well as its beaches, rainforests, and waterfalls. The country has a mixed economy, relying on agriculture (particularly nutmeg and cocoa), tourism, and manufacturing. Grenada is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary democracy, and it is a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the United Nations.
