Its capital and largest city is Jakarta, located on the island of Java, which is also the most populous island in the world. The country has a mixed economy, with major industries including petroleum, natural gas, agriculture, and manufacturing. Indonesia is known for its biodiversity, tropical rainforests, and cultural heritage, including traditional music, dance, and batik. It is a presidential republic and a member of the United Nations, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the G20.
