Pakistan is a nuclear-armed nation and a member of the United Nations (UN), Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), and the World Trade Organization (WTO), playing a key role in regional and global geopolitics.
