The capital is Funafuti, which also serves as the main population and administrative center. Tuvalu’s economy is limited and primarily based on subsistence agriculture, fishing, remittances, foreign aid, and revenues from its .tv internet domain. It is a parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy, recognizing King Charles III as head of state.
