With 25.68 per 1,000 population in 2026, Holy See leads the world in net migration per 1,000 people, followed by Tokelau (16.07 per 1,000 population) and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba (15.94 per 1,000 population). The top 5 is rounded off by Oman (14.06 per 1,000 population) and Saint Barthélemy (12.39 per 1,000 population). Further down, Gibraltar (11.75 per 1,000 population) and Syrian Arab Republic (11.55 per 1,000 population) hold the next two spots.
