Qatar tops the global rankings for ratio of males to females in the population, recording 243.67 males per 100 females in 2026, followed by United Arab Emirates (175.03 males per 100 females) and Oman (166.54 males per 100 females). Bahrain (163.23 males per 100 females) and Maldives (159.76 males per 100 females) complete the top 5. Kuwait (156.53 males per 100 females) and Saudi Arabia (151.99 males per 100 females) follow close behind. Western Sahara (122.02 males per 100 females), Seychelles (121.96 males per 100 females), and Palau (116.17 males per 100 females) round out the top ten. The spread is substantial: Qatar has 2.1× the figure recorded by Palau (116.17 males per 100 females). Seven of the top ten are in Asia, with six from Western.
