Saudi Arabia tops the global rankings for percentage of population aged 15-24 who can read and write, recording 99.89% in 2024, followed by Georgia (99.66%) and the United Arab Emirates (99.61%). Bahrain (99.52%) and Peru (99.49%) complete the top 5. Palestine (99.4%) and Brazil (99.36%) follow close behind. Mexico (99.2%), Panama (99.2%), and Uruguay (99.02%) round out the top ten. Five of the top ten are in Western Asia.
