With 781.9 billion kWh in 2024, United States of America leads the world in nuclear electricity net generation, followed by China (450.8 billion kWh) and France (361.7 billion kWh). The top 5 is rounded off by Russian Federation (215.5 billion kWh) and Republic of Korea (188.8 billion kWh). Further down, Japan (83 billion kWh) and Canada (81.7 billion kWh) hold the next two spots. India (54.7 billion kWh), Spain (52.1 billion kWh), and Ukraine (52 billion kWh) round out the top ten. At the extremes, United States of America is 15× as high as Ukraine (52 billion kWh). Four of the top ten are in Asia, with three from Eastern. Among these countries, India saw the largest year-over-year change at +13.4%.
