Canada (140K metric tons) and New Caledonia (140K metric tons) complete the top 5. China (120K metric tons) and Brazil (70K metric tons) follow close behind. Australia (45K metric tons) and United States of America (10K metric tons) round out the top nine. The spread is substantial: Indonesia has 260× the figure recorded by United States of America (10K metric tons). Three of the top nine are in Asia. Among these countries, Australia saw the largest year-over-year change at -54.1%.
