Belarus (6.0 million metric tons) and Germany (3.0 million metric tons) complete the top 5. Laos (2.4 million metric tons) and Israel (2.0 million metric tons) follow close behind. Jordan (1.8 million metric tons), Chile (600.0 thousand metric tons), and the United States (500.0 thousand metric tons) round out the top ten. The spread across the top ten is substantial: Canada has 30× the figure recorded by the United States (500.0 thousand metric tons). Four of the top ten are in Asia. Among these countries, the United States saw the largest year-over-year change at +22.0%.
