The top 5 is rounded off by China (17,000 million metric tons) and Mauritania (10,000 million metric tons). Further down, Ukraine (6,500 million metric tons) and Canada (6,000 million metric tons) hold the next two spots. India (5,500 million metric tons), Iran (4,200 million metric tons), and Kazakhstan (3,800 million metric tons) round out the top ten. At the extremes, Australia is 16× as high as Kazakhstan (3,800 million metric tons). Four of the top ten are in Asia.
